Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday appealed to PSC aspirants not to be disheartened by allegations of irregularities in the selection process.
He asked the aspirants not to give up hope as his government stands by youths and will ensure justice to them.
Talking to the media here, Baghel said the aspirants must not give ear to negative news and prepare for the exams with dedicated efforts.
“It will certainly deliver fruits as strict action will be taken in case any irregularity is found.
"Now some complaints have come regarding the PSC exam. I want to make it clear that I will take strict action against anyone who is found guilty... People from political parties are making statements.
“No complaints have been received by the students who appeared in the exams.
"If any complaint is received, I will investigate... I want to make it clear that I am with the youth of Chhattisgarh... If there are valid complaints, I will get them investigated and I will also take action against the culprits...," Baghel said.
Former minister and BJP leader Nankiram Kanwar had approached High Court seeking a probe into charges of nepotism and alleged irregularities in the PSC selections.
