Thursday, 30 March 2023 | PNS | Ranchi

Preparations have been completed for a grand Ramnavmi festival in the State, especially in the Capital City, where dozens of Akhadas are ready to participate in the grand Shobha Yatra on Thursday. Flags of lord Hanuman have been put up across all nooks and corners of the city ahead of the festival.

The Ranchi district administration is fully prepared for the Ram Navami festival. Along with the maintenance of law and order, the preparation of other arrangements made available by the district administration during the festival is also being continuously monitored by the higher officials of the district.

In this episode on Wednesday, Ranchi Deputy Commissioner (DC), Rahul Kumar Sinha and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Kishor Kaushal reviewed the preparations being made during Ram Navami at Tapovan Temple. During this, City SP, Subhanshu Jain, Ranchi, SP Traffic, HB Zaman, Additional District Magistrate, RN Alok, District Nazarat Deputy Collector, KK Aggarwal and other concerned officials were present.

Sinha and Kaushal interacted with the temple committee members regarding the preparations being done at Tapovan temple. Taking information about the electricity system, drinking water, CCTV, arrangements for the movement of devotees and others in the temple, the DC said that every possible cooperation will be made available to the committee by the district administration. He informed that the magistrate and police forces have been deputed in the entire district to maintain law and order.

After taking stock of the preparations in the temple, Sinha and Kaushal went out to inspect the route used for the movement and departure of the procession. Due to the construction work going on around the over bridge, Sinha directed the concerned officer of the company to arrange the equipment used. Instructions were also given by the DC to fill the potholes and barricade due to the construction work. He said that full care should be taken to ensure that the devotees involved in the procession do not face any kind of trouble. The DC asked the officials of the company to make the way as smooth as possible for the arrival and departure of the procession.

Calling the operator of the petrol pump located on the route of the procession, Sinha instructed to ensure complete arrangements to deal with any untoward incident of arson.

The Deputy Commissioner said that full care will be taken to ensure that there is no inconvenience to the devotees during the Ram Navami festival. He has appealed to the residents of the district to celebrate the festival of Ram Navami in a cordial atmosphere.
