A 20-year-old  B.Pharma student committed suicide by jumping from the third floor of the hostel at Patel Nagar of Piplani.

The incident is of Anika hostel located in Patel Nagar of Piplani. The student was standing on the third floor with his friend at around 7.15 pm on Thursday. Meanwhile, as soon as the friend went to the mess, the student jumped. He sustained serious injuries after falling on the floor. Due to which he died.

SI Ramraj Singh of Piplani police station told that Shreyash Mishra (20), a resident of Dubey Colony (Katni), was a student of BPharma second year at TIT College, Bhopal.

Police did not find any suicide note. It has come to fore from friends that the result of the student had come recently. Since then she was under stress. However, the police are probing for other reasons as well.

Shreyash Mishra was the only son of his parents. On Thursday evening, he was standing with his friend in the mess on the third floor of Anika Hostel. Mobile and water were kept on the railing of the terrace. Friend says he went inside the mess, then Shreyash jumped. He died on the spot.

The SI said that no suicide note was found from the deceased. Because of this, the reason for the suicide has not been clear at the moment.

In the initial investigation, the matter of tension regarding the examination has surfaced  as reason. Simultaneously, the mobile phone of the deceased is being seized and investigated. His call details are also being extracted, so that it can be known with whom he was in contact.
