Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday met Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi, four days ahead of the counting of votes in the state.
The meeting in New Delhi between the two leaders lasted for over 30 minutes during which they discussed the just ended Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, where the Congress is eyeing a second consecutive term, according to party sources.
The sources said Baghel apprised Gandhi about the voting in the state. They also discussed the most likely election results expected on December 3.
