The budget for the financial year 2023-2024 was approved by the Board of Directors of Authority at the Bhopal Development Authority (BDA) Headquarters at a meeting at Pragati Bhawan under the Chairmanship of Krishna Mohan Soni.
The total receipts in the financial year 2023-2024 are Rs 50653.41 lakhs and total expenditure Rs 50623.80 lakhs is estimated. In the past financial year 2021-22, Rs 321 crore was income received and Rs 317 crore were expenses incurred for the development of various areas of Bhopal by Bhopal Development Authority.
Well planned urban development plan is proposed under which about 135 hectares of landWagli, Bhairopur and 100 hectares in Aerocity Extension Naveen Nagar Vikas will be developed for the scheme.
With the implementation of the schemes, construction of roads of about 8 kilometer length plots for for residential, commercial, public will be available.
Bhopal Development Authority in its various residential has developed multi-storey residential buildings and re-development has been proposed this year as well as at Aerocity according to the need of the people due to the settlement around the scheme shopping complex, 61 LIG flats and 165 MIG flats are also proposed.
New shop cum residential complex at BDA's Gaurishankar Kaushal Residential Scheme is proposed this year.
Laxminarayan Sharma, Residential Scheme Aerocity, Rajabhoj Residential Scheme, Gondermau Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Residential Scheme, Misrod Phase-2, Misrod Phase-1, Vidyanagar Scheme, Phase-2 schemes are on priority of BDA.
Infrastructure development work has been done on about 500 hectares of land, in which a development plan of 15 km length, construction of roads and 200 kilometers of internal roads have been constructed.
For residential and commercial and public and non-public purposes approx 5000 plots have been made available.
Along with this, 03 new buildings have been constructed in Bhopal city by Bhopal Development Authority.
The development work of city development plans has been started Bagli, Barrai, Katara 45 Meter Master Plan Road Raksha Vihar Phase-3 and Aerocity Phase-2 are major. The cost of these schemes is Rs 365 crore. Infrastructure development will be done on 325 hectares of land. in these plans.
Under the development plan roads of about 5 kilometer length will be constructed.
Residential facilities available to residents of low income groups would be 272 EWS units will be set up in Rajabhoj Awasiya Yojna. It is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 20 crore.
The price per unit will be Rs 8.15 lakh to Rs 9.30 lakh. Similarly, 122 duplex in Bhopal development authority's laxmi narayan sharma aerocity scheme.
Residential buildings are constructed and available for sale, per Vidyanagar scheme on Hoshangabad road costing around Rs 110 crores, bus stand, commercial complex is being constructed, due to which business activities will be able to expand with basic facilities.
