The birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri was celebrated on Monday with joy and enthusiasm at Kamala Nehru Park, Barkheda and Shastri Park of BHEL, Bhopal. Rajeev Singh, Executive Director, BHEL, Bhopal and all the distinguished guests garlanded their statues.
On this occasion, BK Singh, General Manager (WEX, MOD & Maintenance) and President (BHECNIS), Avinash Chandra, General Manager (HR. & LGX) and Vice President (BHECNIS) including all the General Managers, union representatives and a large number of people were present.
On this occasion, Singh said that the path of truth and non-violence shown by Gandhiji to the Indians in India's freedom struggle is a reflection of Indian culture. This is a unique example in the entire world and nowhere in the world has the freedom struggle succeeded on the basis of non-violence. Shastriji's personality is a unique example of loyalty, honesty and dedication in Indian history. He said that the birthday of two such personalities on the same date is a great and happy coincidence.
After this, a program of singing popular hymns of Mahatma Gandhi was organized in the courtyard of Narmada Guest House. Everyone praised the bhajans presented by Shri J.P. Maravi wholeheartedly.
