Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday condemned the derogatory remark by a Karnataka MLA against former Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
Talking to reporters here, Baghel said when any Congress leader says something about a BJP leader, BJP people create nuisance all over the country.
“Now, what about the remark of ‘vishkanya’ by a Karnataka BJP MLA for Sonia Gandhi? Will Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah say something about it?”
The remark clearly represents the “Chal, Charitra and Chehra” of BJP, he said.
The Karnataka MLA has spoken such language at the behest of its senior leaders and shows the culture of BJP, he said.
Regarding Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement that Modi was like a ‘poisonous snake’, the Chief Minister said Kharge had taken back his statement and the same response is awaited from Modi and Shah.
