DAV Public School organised the closing ceremony of its ‘Annual Sports Gala ‘ on Friday, 15th December, 2023. The chief guest for the event was BS Jaiswal Vice Chairman LMC, DAV. The closing ceremony programme commenced with a warm welcome of the chief guest offered by the school principal A.K Jha, along with other members of host school DAV Sector 4 Bokaro.

The event was set in motion with a lovely rendition of the school theme song followed by an integrity pledge. The event continued with prize distributions in a variety of categories, ranging from athletics, all the way to the shot put, Discus throw, High jump. To end with a bash, DAV sector 4 students performed an exuberant colorful fusion dance. The ARO Zone G and State coordinator Arun Kumar appreciated and applauded all the students for their dedication and participation in the event and wished them luck in their future endeavors and wished players selected for the national level will definitely hoist the flag of victory for Jharkhand.

In the closing ceremony of this cluster and zonal level sports organized in four sections from 4th December, the Organizing Secretary cum Host DAV 4 School Principal A.K Jha  said that he is extremely happy and proud to host this Mahakumbh of players from various DAV institutions of Jharkhand and convey best wishes to the players selected for the national level and further Principal extended his thanks for the mutual coordination of all which pave the path of such big events successful and wonderful executions.

It is noteworthy that the DAV 2023 annual sports gala was an event that brought the entire school to celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship and hard work. It was a platform for students to showcase their talents and competitive spirit.
