In a grand celebration of linguistic diversity and the significance of the Hindi language, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal, organized the main function of Hindi Pakhwada on Friday.
The event was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS, Bhopal, who presided as the chief guest.
Hindi Pakhwada, a two-week-long celebration dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the Hindi language, serves as a platform for showcasing the cultural and linguistic heritage of India. The event was a remarkable occasion, emphasizing the importance of Hindi in our everyday lives and official communications.
Dr. Pankaj Goel, Chairman of the Hindi Pakhwada Organizing Committee, began the event
by reading out a heartfelt message from the Hon'ble Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah, underscoring the significance of Hindi in uniting the diverse fabric of our nation. Mayank Kapoor, Senior Administrative Officer, also contributed to the event by presenting the message of the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh expressed his thoughts on the immense unifying power of the Hindi language. He emphasized that Hindi transcends regional, communal, and linguistic boundaries, and it has the unique ability to bring people together.
Dr. Singh encouraged everyone to make dedicated efforts to promote the use of Hindi in both official and daily life, ensuring its vitality for generations to come.
As part of the festivities, a bilingual monograph prepared by the Physiology Department of AIIMS, Bhopal, and the departmental magazine, ‘Sadhya Pratibimb’ were released. These publications showcase the scholarly contributions of the institution and its commitment to promoting Hindi language and culture.
In recognition of the participants' exceptional efforts and achievements during various competitions organized between September 14 and September 29, 2023, winners and participants were felicitated with cash prizes and trophies.
