Depressed over deaths of his sons a 65-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling near Radhakrishna mandir under Jehangirabad police station area on Wednesday.
Maniram Yadav was found hanging at the house and taken to hospital where he was declared dead. The deceased used to live with his wife. Police have not found any reason behind the suicide.
Family of deceased would be questioned regarding the reason behind the suicide as no suicide note or any reason was revealed by the family members in the investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.
The deceased had two sons one committed suicide while other died of paralysis. He used to remain depressed and due to which he committed suicide. Police said it would be investigated.
The deceased is survived by his wife.
Meanwhile a 25-year-old married man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his house at Ganesh Tekri, family members have alleged harassed and thrashed by in-laws youth committed suicide.
According to police, the deceased Rajesh Verma was declared dead when he was rushed to a nearby hospital after he was found hanging. Police were informed and based on the receipt a team reached and started an investigation.
In the initial investigation it was found that the deceased had gone to meet her wife in Shiv Nagar under Nishatpura police station and was beaten brutually by in-laws and family members. Later he was booked by Nishatpura police when he went to complain about them.
He was threatened of jail by some police personnel and fearing which he committed suicide.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered. The reason behind the death remained unclear and under investigation.
