The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM ) and Kendrapada Juvenile Justice Board Principal Magistrate sent two juveniles to the Angul juvenile home who were produced by police for allegedly involved in stripping and molesting a minor girl under the Kudanagri police station.
Kendrapada SDPO Jayant Mohapatra said that while the girl was playing near her house, two days back the two boys molested her. When the victim informed her family members about the incident, they lodged an FIR at the Kudanagari police station.
Police registered a case against the juveniles under Sections 294, 323, 354(B),506 of IPC ;Section 8 of POCSO Act . They were later produced before the Juvenile Justice Board where they were sent to Angul observation home.
In another incident, the Marshaghai police on March 17 registered a case against a juvenile for his alleged involvement in outraging the modesty of a minor girl on March 14 evening.
The victim’s father lodged an FIR at the Marshaghai police station. Police registered a case under Sections 341,342,354,354(A), 294, 323, 506,34 IPC and POCSO Act and launched a hunt for the accused, who is absconding.
