-The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) gave its nod to at least 19 transformative projects worth Rs 4,804.35 crore. They promise a potential employment generation of 17,553 jobs across diverse sectors.

The 125th meeting of SLSWCA was convened here on Thursday under the guidance of Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena. The significant investments are in key sectors such as apparel and textiles, steel downstream, paint (Chemical), plastics, packaging, metal downstream, chemicals, food, beverage and allied sectors, steel (Ferro Alloys), IT infrastructure, agro processing, renewable energy, circular economy, and infrastructure.

The projects approved are Welspun Living Limited's textile facility in Kendrapada, Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited's 10,00,000 MT Steel Service Center in Kalinga Nagar, Jajpur, Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Limited's unit in Jajpur, Jindal Stainless Limited's stainless-steel service center unit in Jajpur, Crackers India Alloys Limited's 52,800 MT Steel Casting Mill and rolling mill with ancillary facilities in Barbil, Keonjhar,

Envirocare Infrasolution Private Limited’s Mild Steel strips and pipes manufacturing unit, Rungta Paints Private Limited's manufacturing unit for paints, allied products and Intermediate in Dhenkanal, 

Modulus Oleochem and Surfactants Private Limited’s comprehensive Chemical manufacturing unit in Baliapal, Baleswar, Transnova Express India Private Limited's Chemical Hub in Khordha, Berger Paints' ancillary companies, namely, Grow Max India Private Limited's  manufacturing unit for plastic pails, lids, bottles and drums in Khordha and Anupam Products Limited's  manufacturing unit for empty metal tin containers in Khordha, Rajshree Polypack Limited and Kesav Plasttech (P) Limited's  plastics manufacturing units in Khordha and Rengali Industrial Area, Sambalpur, respectively.

These apart, Dhansar Group's  Private Freight Terminal (PFT) under PM- Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Terminal scheme in Sundargarh, Kaibalya Logistics Private Limited's Multi-Modal Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Mahakalapada of Kendrapara,

Ashirbad Food Processing Private Limited's fully automated flour mill in Jajpur, 

Summa Real Media Private Limited's IT Infrastructure Complex in Khordha, Vaswani Steel Private Limited's 200 KLPD grain-based Ethanol plant, accompanied by a 5MW Co-gen power plant in Nuapada and GAIA Neo Energy Private Limited's compressed biogas plant in Dampara, Cuttack, got the nod.
