Continuing his efforts to streamline the power supply system, the Managing Director (MD) of Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PVVNL) Shambhu Kumar continued his inspection drive and in this direction he did surprise inspection of several power sub-stations in Chandauli on Thursday. Just a day ago, he did similar inspections in Bhadohi and Prayagraj districts. The PVVNL MD also held a meeting with the District Magistrate of Chandauli Nikhil Tikaram Funde at Circuit House in relation to the high demand of power supply during the summer months. During his visit, he also inspected several transformers and instructed the concerned superintending engineer, executive engineers, SDOs and junior engineers to ensure uninterrupted power supply in Chandauli. He said effective monitoring should be maintained to check the power load on the transformers especially during the night hours. He held a meeting with the senior engineers of Power department.
