Pushp Kumar Joshi, an alumnus of XLRI, Jamshedpur (Batch 1984 – 1986), who is currently serving as the director (HR) has been recommended for the post of chairman & managing director (CMD) of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL).
Joshi, a doctorate in human resource management & post graduate in human resource management from XLRI has been serving as the Director (HR) since 2012. From a list of 10 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel, Joshi has been recommended for this post. As the CMD of HPCL, he will be held accountable to the Board of Directors and Government. He will also be responsible for the efficient functioning of the company for meeting its objectives and performance metrics.
Being a part of HPCL, Joshi has always helped in shaping & developing the company’s work culture along aligning them with the values and mission of the organisation. He has extended his full support to the business and finance functionalities in the critical area of human resource management in the organization.
