Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Employment Day is being celebrated every month in the state. The government has provided loans and grants to 13.63 lakh youth for employment through banks in various schemes.
The Chief Minister said that 3.33 lakh youth are being given employment opportunities by celebrating Employment Day in the entire state on Wednesday. The women of Aajeevika Mission are also doing very good work. We are constantly trying to increase their income to Rs 10,000 every month. Along with self-employment, we will give opportunity of government service to one lakh people every year. Now 50 percent marks in police recruitment will be for physical test only, so that the youth of rural areas get more opportunities. Chouhan was addressing the State Level Employment Day convention organized at SAF Maidan in Rewa on Wednesday.
Chouhan announced to complete all pending projects of Rewa district at the earliest. The Chief Minister said that the central government has sanctioned funds for the expansion of Rewa’s airstrip. The state government will now make this airstrip a developed airport. With the start of air service, investment will increase not only in Rewa but in the entire Vindhya region.
Chouhan said that after the completion of Bansagar Dam, Vindhya region has made unprecedented progress in agriculture due to the availability of irrigation facilities. The demand for the region’s wheat is all over India. Now this wheat will be transported abroad as well. Along with agriculture, Vindhya and Madhya Pradesh will also be made number one in industry. For self-employment, assistance is also being given through Mukhya Mantri Udyami Kranti Yojana and Swanidhi Yojana. CM Rise Schools are being opened in the entire state as well as in Rewa, where better education will be given than private schools. The government will bear the education expenses of the students of all the categories appearing in the merit list. Medical and engineering studies in Madhya Pradesh will now be in Hindi.
Chouhan said that Sambal Yojana has been restarted. Mukhya Mantri Teerth-Darshan Yojana is being started from the month of April. If needed, the elderly will also be made to travel by airplane. Mukhya Mantri Kanyadan Yojana is being started again in the state from April 21. In this, marriage assistance of Rs 55 thousand will now be given. Water conservation works will be done in the Jalabhishek campaign in the state. 75 Amrit ponds will be constructed in every district including Rewa.
Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Omprakash Sakhlecha said that in the financial year starting from April 1, more than 2 lakh 38 thousand youths will be given employment. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is such a Chief Minister of the state who has attacked the problem of unemployment. He said that thousands of industries would be set up from 13 industrial clusters of the Centre and 27 industrial clusters of the state and an investment of Rs 5000 crore would be made in these. Adequate electricity and good roads are leading to rapid investment in industries across the state Member of Parliament Shri Janardan Mishra said that the Union Industries Minister has appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan while speaking about industries in Parliament recently. Banaras-Mumbai Industrial Corridor will pass through Rewa district, which will not only benefit the district but also the entire Vindhyas. Former minister and MLA Rewa Shri Rajendra Shukla said that the Chief Minister has special attachment with Rewa and Vindhya. If Rewa is developing rapidly today, then the credit for this is the development plans approved by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. For the rapid development of Rewa, there is a need to upgrade the airstrip and build an airport. Along with this, the water of Bansagar in Rewa has become a boon. The pending irrigation projects in Mauganj, Devtalab and Naigarhi of Rewa district should also be completed soon.
