Schools cannot force students for physical classes- Edu dept

Sunday, 27 February 2022 | PNS | Dehradun

Taking cognisance of the complaint lodged by the National Association for Parents and Students Rights (NAPSR), the education department has ordered that the schools cannot force the students to come to the schools and the classes would be taken both in online and offline mode. On Saturday the national president of NAPSR Arif Khan had submitted a complaint that many private schools are forcing the students to attend the classes in the schools and are threatening that they would not be promoted to higher classes if they don’t come to the school. Khan said that the annual examinations in all the schools are starting from March 1 and the private schools are exerting pressure on the parents of students studying in class I to V to attend physical classes. He said that parents are worried since the children are not vaccinated. Khan also added that the attitude of the school is against the government order issued on February 4 according to which the schools cannot force the students to come to the schools.
