The official Twitter handle of the Puri district administration, which was hacked possibly by hackers from China, has been restored.
Puri Collector Samarth Verma has directed the IT Cell to probe into the matter.
The Collectorate had tried to post something on the official Twitter handle of the district administration. Upon clicking the Twitter account ‘@Puri_Official’, it showed ‘Yin Yang Gang’ (Chinese).
After hacking the account, the hackers reportedly re-tweeted several official tweets of the district administration and posted some cartoon pictures.
