Programme on prevention of diabetic neuropathy
An awareness program related to the treatment and prevention of Diabetic Neuropathy disease was organised on Thursday at the Central Super Specialty Hospital, East Central Railway, Patna. Hospital's ACH Director (Physician) Dr. Sanjay Kumar Gupta and ACH Director (Nephrology), Dr. Kaushal Kumar, gave a lecture on the causes, treatment and prevention of diabetic neuropathy. Along with this, about 100 patients suffering from this disease were also benefitted.
OPS students shine in ‘Voice for India’
Voice for India (a body of Government) organised Quiz Competition and Youth Parliament Contest on 19th and 20th November, 2022 at Vivekanand Vidya Mandir, Dhurwa. A group of students from classes 8, 9 and 11 participated and won laurels for Oxford Public School. All of them reached the final level and received Certificate of Participation. In Youth Parliament, Arya Raj of std. 11 secured the first rank and received a cash prize of Rs 2,000 along with Momento and certificate of Excellence. Md. Quamar Alam of Std. 11 also won the first prize with cash prize of Rs 1000 and momento along with Certificate of Participation. The 5th Jharkhand Jeet Kune- Do Championship 2022-23 was organised at Paramveer Albert Ekka Stadium, Gumla from 4th to 6th November 2022. Aleena Danish of std 6 won Silver Medal in under 14 category. Many received certificate of participation.
IWCZ holds eye check-up camp
Inner Wheel club of Jamshedpur Zest organised an eye check-up camp in collaboration with Poornima Netralayam near Kharkai Bridge. The camp was organised for the local slum dwellers in which around 60 people benefitted. Among them four were selected for cataract surgery. The club organised the surgery of the selected patients on December 1. Members present were president Nisha Gadia, Madhu, Usha, past president Neeta and Prity.
