In a major reshuffle in the IAS cadre, the State Government on Sunday appointed Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) Raj Kumar Sharma as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Health and Family Welfare Department. He was allowed to remain in additional charge of OSMCL Chairman
Home Department ACS Sanjeev Chopra was appointed as APC. He was will remain in additional charge of Home Department ACS and A and FE Department ACS.
Madhu Sudan Padhi, who is the Commerce and Transport Department Principal Secretary with additional charge of Commissioner, Land Records and Settlement, was also appointed as Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department Principal Secretary.
MSME Principal Secretary Satyabrata Sahu, who is School and Mass Education Department Principal Secretary, was also appointed as Revenue and Disaster Management Department Principal Secretary.
Ranjana Chopra, who is the ST and SC Development, M and BCW Department Principal Secretary, will also remain in charge of MSME Department Principal Secretary.
Industries Principal Secretary Hemant Sharma, who is SD and TE Department Principal Secretary and IPICOL Chairman, will remain in additional charge of IDCO Chairman.
Bishnupada Sethi, who wa Revenue and Disaster Management Principal Secretary with additional charge of I and PR Department Principal Secretary, was appointed as School and Mass Education Department Principal Secretary. He will remain in additional charge of Commerce and Transport Department and I and PR Department Principal Secretaries.
A and FE Department Commissioner and Secretary Suresh Kumar Vashishth was also appointed as GA and PG Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department Commissioner and Secretary Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma was allowed to also remain in charge of W and CD Department Commissioner-and Secretary.
Bhupendra Singh Poonia, IPICOL MD with additional charge of Additional Secretary of Industries, IDCO ED and Odisha Film Development Corporation MD, will also remain in charge of IDCO MD.
