Mukhyamantri Jan Sewa Abhiyan, a saturation coverage programme for beneficiary schemes, has now got into a mission mode in the Barwani district, as its employees have been working hard even up till late in the night to ensure benefits to more and more peopleby October 31.
The district is leaving no stone unturned to provide benefits of the 38 identified schemes of central and state governments to cover the maximum number of eligible beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Jan Sewa Abhiyan (MJSA).
Collector of Barwani Shivraj Singh with his team of officials and employees of the district has been making efforts out of his way to cover the maximum beneficiaries under the MJSA. The employees have been engaged at the district and all sub-divisions headquarters to upload the documents related to the online-based schemes so that the benefits are got to the beneficiaries before ending the campaign. They have been working hard till 12 o'clock at night (in the image).
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the MJSA to deliver 38 identified beneficiary schemes of central and state governments to the beneficiaries by organising camps at every panchayat of the state, on September 17,the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The 45-day-long campaign will be ending on October 31. The campaign is a flagship programme of the CM for saturation coverage of the schemes.
"This is an important campaign to cover more and more eligible beneficiaries in the identified schemes. Our teams of officers and employees are working enthusiastically overtime. Due to this, our district has been performing well since the MJSA started", collector Singh told The Pioneer.
With the efforts of the collector and the dedication and zeal of his team members, the district has been remaining at the first position among the tribal and B-category districts of the state in sanctioning the schemes since MJSA's inception.
As of now, the district is in the first position in the state in the targeted public distribution system(PDS) registering 45,926 applications and sanctioning 45,806 cases while it is in 5th place in the overall performance by registering 2,80,584 applications and providing benefits to 2,38,154 beneficiaries.
