Eight Chhattisgarhias crack UPSC-2021

Six young men and two young women from Chhattisgarh cracked the prestigious UPSC Civil Services Examination 2021, the results for which were announced on Monday.

Shraddha Shukla, daughter of Congress leader Sushil Anand Shukla, topped from Chhattisgarh by    securing the 45th rank all over India. 

The other successful candidates include Akshay Pillai (51st rank), son of Additional Chief Secretary Renu G Pillai and IPS Sanjay Pillai; Prakhar Chandrakar (102nd rank), who is from NIT-Raipur; Mayank Dubey (147th rank) from Tayang village in Raigarh; Prateek Agrawal (156th rank); Divyanjali Jaiswal (216th rank); Abhishek Agrawal (252nd rank), son of IAS officer Umesh Agrawal.  ; and Akash Shukla (390th rank).

Talking to the media, Shraddha said moral support from the family and self-study helped her clear the prestigious examination.

She had completed schooling from MGM Higher Secondary School, Raipur, and did MSc from Pt Ravishankar Shukla University, she said.

If allotted, she would prefer the home cadre and want to work to boost       education and to curb the Naxalite violence from state, she said.
