DAV regional officer meets CM, discusses education issue

MK Sinha, principal of DAV Kapil Dev Public School and assistant regional officer of DAV Jharkhand zone ‘F’ on Monday met Chief Minister Hemant Soren and discussed various issues relating to education in the State. Sinha, the assistant regional director of DAV group informed the Chief Minister about the various steps taken by DAV group in the field of education. Sinha informed the Chief Minister that as per right to education act (RTE), the DAV group is providing free education to children coming from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families.

The assistant regional officer also sought State Government cooperation so that DAV institutions in the State can carry forward its initiative in providing education to marginalized sections of society. The Chief  Minister Soren, on the occasion also appreciated the work done by the DAV group in the state.

The Chief Minister said that the DAV institutions in State are progressing under the guidance of Padma Shri Dr Punam Suri, President DAV Management Committee, New Delhi, Dr JP Shoor, Director D.A.V. Managing Committee Public Schools-1 and Aided Schools (India). The Chief Minister also appreciated the effort taken by the DAV group in State. He said that schools of Jharkhand Zone F are providing the best education and all the credit goes to DAV Management and Assistant Regional Officer, Zone F, MK Sinha.

The Chief Minister said that DAV has produced several doctors, engineers, sportspersons and the institutions will carry forward its work in future too.

On the occasion, the CM also had a telephonic conversation with Dr. JP Shoor. Shoor, the Director of DAV Managing Committee Public Schools-1 and Aided Schools (India) appreciated the work carried out by the Chief Minister in the development of the State. Shoor said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren is a very capable, hardworking and progressive person and under his leadership, Jharkhand will definitely touch new heights.

Shoor, expressing his gratitude towards the Chief Minister, said that whenever the DAV group needed any assistance from the State Government, the Soren government was always ready to help.  On the other hand, the Chief Minister said that all the institutes of DAV under the leadership of Dr. Shoor are moving towards great heights. DAV produces doctors, engineers, sportsmen and good citizens every year, for which the Chief Minister thanks the DAV institutions.
