A former student of Loyola School, Shruti Rajlakshmi brought laurels as she got AIR 25 at the Civil Services Examination – 2021, whose results were announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
Shruti, who currently stays in Ranchi used to stay in steel city between 2006 and 2013. She was the science topper from Loyola School in the year 2013. She scored 97.8 percent in ICSE. She did her preparations staying in Ranchi and in New Delhi.
“There was so much cooperation from all the members of the family. My father and mother were very much supportive. I qualified for the IAS and it’s a dream-come-true for me,” said the voracious reader. She said that she always dreamt of cracking UPSC and this was the reason she worked so hard. Today her efforts have brought fruitful results. She always wanted to serve society.
“It’s a moment of joy and celebration for the entire family. My parents always wanted me to become an officer, so I would say I have fulfilled their dreams,” she said.
Shruti's mother Preeti was CDPO in Chandil block at that time. Shruti's childhood has passed in Jamshedpur itself. Shruti was the 2013 batch science topper (10th) of Loyola School. She studied up to 12th from DPS RK Puram Delhi. She used to live in Dimna Road Moon City in Jamshedpur.
Shruti worked for one year after passing computer science from BHU IIT in 2019. After preparing on her own, she has got success in UPSC. Shruti's father Anand Kumar is a lawyer and mother is currently the District Social Welfare Officer.
