BSL's Chief General Manager-in-Charge (Town Administration) BS Popli inaugurated a new electrical sub-station near St. Xavier's School in Sector-1C. On this occasion, General Manager (TA-Electrical) Rajul Harkerni, General Manager (TA) D Madhukar, General Manager (TA-Civil) KS Singh along with other officers and employees of Town Administration Electricity Department were present.

It is worth mentioning that there is a plan to set up 35 electrical sub-stations in the entire township to improve the power supply system, which started from Sector-3E sub-station last month when DIC BSL Amarendu Prakash inaugurated the first station and he always affirmed since his inception towards not only on Plant production but Township development too which new team showing complete alignment.

Taking this link forward, sub-station has been replaced in Sector 1C, which will remove the problem of low voltage in this sector, as well as reduce the load on the existing transformers, which will reduce the problem of switch burning and power cut consequently stable power supply.  

Similar sub-stations will be set up in other sectors of the township to establish the commitment when new team of BSL took charge under the leadership of DIC BSL who are working day and night to bring radical changes in the township maintenance which Bokaro township was lacking but cohesive action now started showing improvements in terms of Electricity, Road repair etc. which this Steel City always deserve.
