After the loud and clear message of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan to crush the people involved in trade of drugs and illegal liquor, under the guidance of Indore Collector Manish Singh, Indore ADM Rajesh Rathore also working as officiating assistant commissioner excise with the team of excise department arrested several people and seized several two wheelers and four wheelers by conducting the continuous raid on the liquor and drugs mafia.
In the last 10 days action against criminals involved in intoxication business in current year from October 2 to 12, total 501 cases were registered in Indore district against liquor mafias in which 740 litres of country made liquor 83.11 bulk litre foreign liquor spirit and 217.94 bulk litre foreignliquor beer was confiscated.
Total 4 four-wheelers and 2 two wheelers were confiscate from the smugglers. The total worth value of illegal liquor confiscated is Rs 18,77,415 and the worth value of the two-wheeler and four-wheelerconfiscated is Rs 10,80,000. On the instruction of ADMRajesh Rathore the excise team of Indorealso raided a Sagar Ayurvedic Pharmacy company running in the village Jakhya where the Bhaang tablets were being manufactured on the name of munakka tablets.
The excise department seized the 2 quintal bhaang worth Rs 20 lakhs and sub standard munakka around 5 quintals. An FIR has been registered against the factoryowner Pankaj Vaishnav.
