UTC to operate CNG buses from next year

The Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC) will convert 600 roadways buses into CNG buses for the fuel-efficient and cost-effective service in the state. This proposal was passed in the board meeting of the corporation. The general manager (operations) of UTC, Deepak Jain informed that the corporation will soon float tenders to convert 600 roadways buses using CNG kits installation. “The whole procedure of the installation of CNG kits in the buses will take at least three months. We will aim to complete the process in the due time to start the operation of these buses earlier next year,” stated Jain.
