In the midst of decreasing Covid-19 positive cases, Odisha has achieved another milestone in its fight against the pandemic as the State has administered over three crore vaccine doses including over 82 lakh beneficiaries being fully inoculated.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in a tweet said, "Glad to share that Odisha has crossed yet another significant milestone in the fight against Covid-19 by administering 3 crore vaccines doses. Commend the hard work and commitment of our healthcare workers in ensuring a swift vaccination to save precious lives."
The State had launched the vaccination drive on January 16,2021 and targets to complete the inoculation drive by December 31.
Of the 4.5 crore population, the Government has set a target to inoculate 3.09 crore people in the age of 18 years or above, a Health official said.
