As the district authorities have stepped up the corona vaccination program in the district with it there has been a rise in numbers of corona positive .In the last four days around 50 new cases have been recovered here at different locations.
Majority of cases detected have travel history and have travelled to JHARKHAND from different owing the festival season.
The cases have fallen to nil in the month of February.
Amidst this deputy commissioner US Singh on Wednesday inspected the corona test drive at Dhanbad railway Station and àlso visited Sadar Hospital and SNMMMCH1.
The main focus is to screen the positive patients on Station coming from higher sensitivity states from different trains here .The drive is on with cooperation with the railways here,he said.
While inspecting the aforementioned two hospitals he directed the doctors to ensure that corona tests were held of all patients outdoors. The tests must start with the opening of the outdoor ward ,he directed.
He further directed the authorities to provide PPE kit to the health workers engaged in taking samples for corona test at both the hospitals.
