Ranchi girl Tanya Sinha has won the Glamanand Supermodel India 2021 and will represent India at Miss Globe International. She was crowned Miss Earth India 2018 by Nishi Bhardwaj. She will now represent India at Miss Globe International 2022.
Tanya auditioned for Glamanand Supermodel India 2021 in December last year with a dream of winning the coveted crown in the competition. After winning the competition she said that winning the contest ‘Glamanand Supermodel India’ is a dream come true. “Coming from a small town and joining the biggest competition of India and then winning the crown requires a lot of hard work and consistency. I am honoured to take the responsibility of bringing the 1st Miss Globe International crown to India. I am grateful to the National Director Nikhil Anand for believing in me and I will work hard with the organization with the aim of becoming the first Indian to win Miss Globe International," she said.
Tanya Sinha is a 23-year-old from Jharkhand who is a post graduate is social development and runs a cloud kitchen in Ranchi. She is passionate about food and at the same time loves to express her feelings through dance. She advocates for addressing the issue of untouchability especially in rural areas. The world is changing but creating as much awareness as the world does not change, to knowledgeable people. She firmly believes in the word, "Empathy is the key".
On the night of the coronation, Jaipeer's Divija Gambhir won the Miss India Multinational Crown and Zoya Afroz from Mumbai won the Miss India International crown. Asmita Chakraborty was crowned as the first runner-up and Anisha Sharma was the second runner-up. Asmita Chakraborty, who was crowned at the Miss Tourism World pageant, will represent India, while Anisha Sharma’s International pageant will be decided later.
