Everyone in Chhattisgarh named Bhupesh got felicitated on Monday to mark the birthday of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel who turned 60.
The Chairman of the Raipur Municipal Corporation told the media that he decided to felicitate everyone named Bhupesh after verifying the names from the Aadhar Card list.
Other Congress leaders in the state did not lag behind.
Raipur West MLA Vikas Upadhyay organized a 'Janaula' competition among school children to test their knowledge about the Chief Minister.
They were also asked about the various schemes and development works initiated by Baghel.
Upadhyay said he wanted to celebrate the birthday in a unique way instead of installing carboard hoardings in the capital. An essay writing competition was held in schools of Dharsinwa block.
A total of 180,000 students took part in the competitions and students who fared well will be awarded, Upadhyay added.
