Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday celebrated ‘Krishna Janmashtami’ with children from the ‘Kopalvaani’ school at his residence here. He offered prayers and sought blessings for peace and prosperity for the state.

The Kopal Vani Shravan Badhit Aavasiya Vidyalaya (Deaf-Dumb Residential School) students were dressed up as Krishna and Radha. The Chief Minister applied ‘tilak’ to the children and gave away sweets.

Kopal Vani School Professor Dr Preeti Upadhyay said several students took part in the event. The children gifted the Chief Minister paintings done by them.
