4 injured due to electrocution in Dhanbad
Four persons including three persons of the same family identified as Nisha (24), her 5-year-old daughter Muskan and her 15 year old brother Prem, resident of Duhhatand sustained burn injuries when an overhead 11000 volt transmission wire fell on them at Bank More locality today evening. All three were eating snacks near Urmila Tower when a wire fell injuring four including the chat seller identified as Mahesh. The injured have been admitted to SNMMCH for treatment. Prem has sustained most injuries, according to attending doctors. Dhanbad MLA Raj Sinha rushed to SNMMCH to see the victims and assured family members of all help.
Ticket checking drive at Samastipur Division
East Central Railway is continuing the campaign for prevention of travel without ticket/proper authority, so that passengers traveling without ticket/proper authority can be discouraged and passengers traveling with proper ticket do not face difficulties. A special ticket checking campaign is being conducted at stations and trains by forming separate teams of officers and railway personnel in Samastipur division. A total of 5450 cases were reported without ticket/proper authority from the campaign run by Samastipur Division from September 24 . This special ticket checking drive was carried out on trains and stations in Samastipur-Jayanagar, Muzaffarpur-Raxaul/Narkatiyaganj, Bapudham Motihari-Sagauli, Samastipur-Darbhanga, Saharsa-Mansi etc sections of Samastipur division. During this, people were also motivated to travel with proper tickets.Special ticket checking drive is also being conducted in other divisions of East Central Railway.
PSA Plant inaugurated at Ranchi Rail Division
Live telecast of the launch programme of PSA Oxygen Plants funded by 'PM Cares' by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from AHA Institute (AIIMS) Rishikesh was organized at Divisional Rail Hospital, Hatia campus. On this occasion, Divisional Railway Manager, Pradeep Gupta, doctors, nurses and others were present in the premises of Kovid Warrior Divisional Rail Hospital, Hatia. Establishment of PSA Oxygen Plant has been approved by SER at Divisional Rail Hospital, Hatia. Which is planned to be operational in the coming months? By which 260 liters of oxygen can be made per minute. At present, Oxygen is supplied by the Oxygen Cylinder in Divisional Rail Hospital. With the establishment of PSA Oxygen Plant, there will be no need to bring oxygen from outside for the patients of Divisional Railway Hospital; the oxygen produced from this plant can be supplied as per the requirement.
Eye checkup camp organized
SAIL SC/ST Employees Federation Branch, Ranchi (SEWA) and Bhagwan Mahaveer Hospital and Research Center Eye Unit Booty Mod (Opposite PHD Colony) in association with Jain Samaj Ranchi at Service Office MECON Colony Campus from 02/10/2021 about 283 patients suffering from eye diseases were examined completely free of cost, about 55 patients suffering from very serious diseases were advised to get treatment in higher center, while about 118 patients were advised to wear glasses after checking their glasses, due to cataract. The affected patients were called to Bhagwan Mahabir Hospital Buti Mod Ranchi, where they would be operated completely by lens implant method, medicine, glasses, etc. All the expenses would be borne by the Jain society, the patients who would be operated on, they would have their voter ID with them. This information was given by Shiva Nand Prasad Project Manager Bhagwan Mahabir Hospital and Research Center Eye Care. Ramdas Tigga, the representative of the SEWA, thanked the team who came for the eye examination at the end of the free check-up camp by giving him the traditional gamcha of Jharkhand.
Tusker menace: Family held hostage for 3 hours
A family residing in the Guradih village of Seraikela block was held hostage for three hours by the wild elephants. The villagers woke up after hearing the cries of wild elephants. Suddenly, the house of Shambhu Pahari was surrounded by a herd of elephants. Feeling helpless, the family of Shambhu remained hostage in their own house for about three hours. A large number of villagers gathered to see the whole scene. In the midst of this panic, the villagers sometimes informed the forest department and sometimes tried to remove the group of wild elephants from the village area from their level. The forest department was immediately informed about the incident. Despite the information, Forest Department in-charge Forester Tridiv Kumar Mahto reached the spot after five years and took stock of the matter. The village head has said that the said group of wild elephants is still moving between Guradih and Ghoralang village.
Mobile vaccination vans launched
Dhanbad Deputy commissioner Sandeep Singh on Thursday launched four mobile vaccination vans for stepping up Corona vaccination in underground fire hit locations of Dhanbad . The vans would be operated in cooperation with Care India. The DC hoped that the vans would help in meeting the vaccination target. He called upon people to cooperate and get vaccinated as soon as possible.
