Pragya Parnita wins Miss/Mrs India Int’l title
Bhubaneswar: Pragya Parnita from Nayagarh won the prestigious title of Miss & Mrs India International in a programme held in New Delhi on September 25. The programme was presented by Parisa Communication director by Tabassum Haq with celebrity photographer Vikas Panthri. Pragya, who represented Odisha Fashion, is a student of medical science pursuing physiotherapy.
Blood donation camp held in Ganjam NAC
Brahmapur: A blood donation camp was organised at Barpalli village under the Ganjam NAC in collaboration with the Barpalli Youth Club and Ganjam College Alumni Association on Wednesday. Total 102 units of blood were collected. Armed Reserve Police personnel, students and youths donated blood. The camp was inaugurated by Ganjam Additional Superintendent of Police Thakur Prasad Patra. Social activist and retired executive engineer Binod Padhi, Ganjam police SI Suvendu Sahu, 8th Battalion Assistant Commandant Arun Pradhan, Ganjam College Principal Praveen Nanda, Additional BEO Bijay Behera and social activist Durgamadhab Panigrah were present. The camp was coordinated by student leader Akshay Pradhan and Ganjam College students’ union president Shivananda Palai.
