In the rapidly changing world, along with land, sea, air and space, cyber domain has also become a widespread and important place. It has unlimited use potential while the common people are benefiting from the use of new technology, anti-social elements are also committing various crimes due to its misuse. Such a summit is a relevant and commendable effort in cyber security and crime control said Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Mangubhai Patel as the chief guest at the conclusion of the ten-day Cyber Crime and Intelligence Summit-2021 in the auditorium of Madhya Pradesh Police Academy, Bhauri on Friday.He said that as the economy is moving towards digital, cashless, it is imperative to strengthen the cyber security.
Addressing the program, Director General of Police, Vivek Johri said that a huge increase in cyber crimes was witnessed during the COVID period. Such crimes have taken place in cities as well as in rural areas. In this summit, maximum efforts have been made for the prevention, deliberation and control of cyber crime.
The DGP said that "the participants of the summit will also share the knowledge gained during this period with their colleagues and subordinates and train them so that speedy action is possible on these crimes."
Special Director General of Police (Training) Aruna Mohan Rao informed that more than three thousand officers have participated in the summit. Guidance has been received from more than 56 national and international subject experts
The summit was organized by Madhya Pradesh Police in association with Soft Click Foundation, UNICEF and Clear Trail Communication Analytics.
