Former-PCC chief Mishra passes away

Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) on Thursday deeply mourned the death of former PCC president and former Balangir MP Nityananda Mishra, who passed away at 7.25 pm at a hospital here at the age of 95.

PCC president Niranjan Patnaik said Mishra was one of the most talented politicians and a very good organiser. His speech in Parliament was so impressive that senior Ministers and Parliamentarians were listening to him minutely. He had created an example of a right politician with true words. Patnaik expressed sympathy to Mishra’s family members and followers.Among others, AICC State observer A Chella Kumar, assistant observer D Rudraraju and chairman of the media committee Ganeswar Behera condoled the demise of Mishra.
