District Public Relations Officer Bokaro (DPRO) Rahul Kumar Bharti held a meeting with the print and electronic media representatives of the district at Suchna Bhawan on Sunday and discussed the possible impact of third wave of Covid-19.
He also emphasised that all the media persons should follow Covid-19 precautions and must take all measures to keep themselves and their family well protected.
On a regular basis, the information related to the activities and preparations of the district administration is being conveyed by the department to the press via releases and audio-visuals. District Public relations is working with better coordination and will continue to do so to ensure proper content reporting, the DPRO said.
Bharti listened to all the print and electronic media representatives in order to collect news and understand different problems.
Most of the representatives demanded from the district administration the benefits of health insurance, medical facilities and more during the testing times of the pandemic. On this, the DPRO assured to keep these things before the senior officials.
Avinash Kumar Singh, Assistant Public Relations Officer present on the occasion said that the representatives of print and electronic media whose accreditation card has expired must submit an application so that the same can be forwarded to the Headquarters for renewal.
During the occasion Rakesh Ranjan Sinha, Asutosh Kumar, Santosh Kumar, Salam Hussain, Manoj Soren from DPRO office and representatives of various print and electronic media were present.
