In the prevailing situation when the entire human race is battling for life against the Covid-19 pandemic, once again going a step forward, the country’s largest non-government educational organisation, DAV Institutions, is all set to make an exemplary move with all concern and benevolence.
During natural calamities, crises or even any other unprecedented situations, the DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi, spontaneously tries to join the mainstream by sharing the burden and shouldering the responsibility of moving forward with the core mission of education.
“We have planned for free education up to Class-X to our students who have untimely lost their earning parents in the prevailing pandemic and are under a lot of mental stress and trauma,” says the Regional Officer, DAV Institutions, Odisha.
All such students can apply through their respective schools, for which a specific application form shall be made available in the school websites by the first week of June. Earlier also, during such natural calamities or crises, DAV Institutions with active involvement and cooperation of its employees, students and parents have contributed generously to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund and the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of their respective States.
“However serious may be the consequence of Covid-19, DAV shall always try to uphold its core philosophy by reaching out to all such unfortunate students to carry on with their education without any interruption owing to any financial constraints”, said Padma Shri Dr Punam Suri , President, DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi.
