As part of its campaign to “expose” the “corrupt” practices of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) — ruled municipal Corporations, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has completed 2,500 “Mohalla Sabhas” on Saturday in which 90 per cent of those participated agreed that the corporations have failed to maintain civic amenities.
Senior AAP leader and MCD in-charge Durgesh Pathak said that the AAP has completed all 2,500 Mohalla Sabhas in which 2.5 lakh people participated.
“There was great enthusiasm among the people for AAP and around 90 per cent of the people agree that the BJP has failed in running the MCD. After an analysis of the discussions held, 99 per cent people agreed that BJP has failed in ensuring cleanliness and 100 per cent agreed that BJP does corruption, he added.
Pathak said that people are perturbed by the corporations and have agreed that the BJP has failed to run it and they have decided that they will vote for the Kejriwal government in the upcoming municipal election.
