Strict action against black marketeers: DC

Bokaro DC Mukesh Kumar held meetings with senior officials regarding coronavirus infection. He asked the officials to ensure that food items reach among all the needy and poor without any constraints. The DC said that there is no shortage of food items in the district. Administration asked to take strict action if any shopkeeper reported to involved in black marketing alsoKeeping in mind the facilities and demand of the people, work has been done to install vegetable, fruits, ration shops at places from where the common people can purchase the necessary items at the scheduled time easily.The DC gave strict instructions that those who spread the rumours about Coronavirus infection will be identified and necessary legal action to be taken. The DC also directed all the Block Development Officers and all the Zonal Officers to keep 50 bed quarantines in all blocks and at least 20 beds in all Panchayats ready as proactive measures & also good schools both private & government in all the blocks and all panchayats have also been directed to keep the quarantine ready so that it can be used as per the requirement in any odd situation.

Kumar specifically told all the Block Development Officers and all the Circle Officers that to make the villagers aware, everyone has been asked to increase social distance but during this time they can reduce the emotional distance and talk to their relatives, old friends for extending moral support.
