Chief Minister Hemant Soren has slammed Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) for power cuts urging the body to supply uninterrupted power supply in its command districts.
Soren said that Government is looking into the working style of DVC and State Government is serious on the issue. The DVC is Union Government unit. Meanwhile, the BJP MLAs on Thursday raised the issue of power failure in State especially in the districts such as Hazaribagh, Bokaro, Giridih, Koderma and others which fall under the command area of Damodar valley Corporation (DVC).
BJP legislator from Bokaro Virnachi Narayan raising the issue said that there is serious power
failure issue in these districts leading to problems to people. Replaying to the query made by Viranchi Narayan, parliamentary affairs minister Alamgir Alam said that government is serious to short out power shortage issue.
