3 Metro stations renamed, now Pragati Maidan is SC station

The Delhi Government has renamed three metro stations in the national Capital. Following the Government’s decision on Tuesday, now Pragati Maidan metro station is to be renamed Supreme Court metro station, Mukarba Chowk Flyover as Shaheed Captain Vikram Batra and Badarpur-Mehrauli as Acharya Shri Mahapragya.

Besides, the Delhi Government announced that the Lajpat Nagar Flyover and Shakti Nagar Chowk will be renamed Sri Jhoole Lal Setu and Shakti Nagar Chowk as Bhagwan Mahavir Chowk.

Other spots to be renamed included stone signage at Maharshi Dayanand Chowk in place of Rani Bagh, and re-installation of the signboards of Acharya Tulsi Marg at different places from Andheria Mod to Gurugram.
