Raigarh resident Yashi Jain has set a target to climb the highest peak of seven continents. She will be the first girl from Chhattisgarh to take up such a challenge. She is leaving for Europe for the first leg of mountaineering.
Before departing, she called on Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Chhattisgarh State Assembly Speaker Dr Charandas Mahant to seek their blessings to achieve the target.
Mahant said this daughter of Chhattisgarh will bring laurel to the state. She will carry along the blessings of 2.5 crore people of the state.
