Police on Sunday night busted a sex racket operating from a rented house near FCI Chhak in Rayagada town and arrested three persons in this connection.
The arrestees were identified as kingpin of the racket Chandan Kumar Choudhury, Sonu Mallick and Biku Kumar Tandi. Police also rescued two women of Khordha district, who were engaged in the flesh trade. Acting on a tipoff regarding the immoral activities being carried out at the house for some time, a police team conducted a raid, during which two youths were found in a compromising position. Police have also seized some objectionable items from the spot. The two women have been sent to a correctional home and the arrestees were forwarded to court. police said.
