The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has urged the State Government to impose Section 144 of CrPC around examination centres, where Classes-X and XII final examinations will be held from February 15 to April 4.
The CBSE authorities have made such a move for the first time in the State in view of question paper leakage reported in 2018.
CBSE Chairperson Anita Karwal has requested the State Government to extend security support for the examination centers located in Odisha.
While there are 459 schools affiliated to the CBSE, examinations will be held in 124 schools fixed as examination centers in the State.
Adequate police personnel need to be deployed near examination centers in all 30 districts, said Karwal.
While examination will be held from 10 am to 1.30 pm, there should be uninterrupted power supply during the examination.
According to information, over 33 lakh students would appear for the two final examinations across the country.
