SCRB gives public App for safety

Training on newly developed app by Madhya Pradesh police ‘MPeCop’ and Madhya Pradesh Citizen Portal http://citizen.mppolice.gov.in  for safety and security of citizens, students and women was provided by State Crime Record Bureau (SCRB) team to the police officials and personnel at the police control room on Wednesday.

At the training DIG Bhopal Irshad Wali was present while the training was provided by Inspector Deepak Kadam of SCRB. Kadam provided details of the newly developed app which is meant for safety and security.

The demo of app and portal was given and how it will work and how to aware citizens regarding these technical tools.

After the installation of app number of family members/ relatives could be saved and during emergency by pressing emergency button SMS would be sent to four family members/ relatives along with Dial 100 of girl and woman which would help in emergency situations. The app is available at Android and IOS platform.

Apart from feature of support during emergency situation citizens could register information of missing documents, providing information of criminals and crimes without revealing identity, location and map of nearest police station and information of stolen vehicles, FIR, complaint, arrested persons and mobile number of officials and telephone.

The citizen portal which is developed for provided services to citizens also serves the same purpose and additionally few other services like application of character verification are available.
