Madhya Pradesh Tourism Quiz-2019 is being organised by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board for students of Class IX to Class XII.

The purpose of the Quiz is to familiarise with the importance of the State’s history, traditions, historical heritage, cultural diversity, art, natural resources, great personalities and to introduce with scope of tourism importance besides development of learning process. The quiz will be held in the Government / non-government schools of all 52 districts at the district level on August 7 and at the state level on September 5.

The district level quiz will be organized by the District Tourism Promotion Council constituted for promotion / promotion of tourism in the districts led by the Collector, Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat in cooperation and coordination with one quiz master of the District Education Officer and Education Department. For registration, forms will have to be submitted from June 21 to July 20, 2019 at the District Education Officer / Principal District Level School of Excellence / District Tourism Promotion Council (Collector's office).

The first 3 winning teams of each district will be given coupon for 2 nights 3 days and 3 runners-up teams for 1 night and two day stay at hotels of Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation. Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board will bear the expenses of to and fro travelling from the respective tourist destination, food, stay, local travel etc.

Questions related to tourism and area, art, promotion, spirituality, natural and cultural environment related to tourism in Madhya Pradesh will be asked in both the phases of the quiz. In the second phase, there will be an audio visual / multimedia based quiz among the 6 teams selected in the first phase. In this, the winner schools will participate at the school state level.
