Energy Minister Priyavrat Singh said at the State level Conference of Electricity Meter Readers Welfare Union that problems of electric meter readers will be solved on priority.
He said that district wise list of meter readers who have been removed from services should be presented and they will be rehabilitated. Their regularization in the new operating structure will also be considered. This work will be undertaken with positive thinking.
Singh said that the vision of the Chief Minister is the vision of a leader. His first goal is to remove unemployment from the state.
That is why it has been decided to provide 70 percent employment to local people in new industries. Singh said that the present government believes in solving problems through dialogue. He said that the state has to be converted into a developed state from a sick state. Electricity production has to be increased according to demand. The Energy Minister said that the decision to give electricity bill of Rs 100 on consumption of 100 units for all irrespective of caste, religion, discrimination of poor-rich has been taken due to irregularities in the Sambal Yojana.
