Many prominent faces of Indian politics congratulated Hemant Soren for swearing in as Chief Minister of Jharkhand on Sunday.
Giving Soren his best wishes on Twitter, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi said, “Congratulations to Hemant Soren Ji for taking oath as Jharkhand Chief Minister. I assure all possible support from the Centre for Jharkhand’s growth.”
Senior Indian National Congress (INC) leader, Rahul Gandhi tweeted and said, “I attended the swearing in ceremony of CM Hemant Soren Ji and Ministers from the Congress party in
Ranchi today. I am confident that the new Government in Jharkhand will work for the benefit of all citizens and usher in an era of peace and prosperity in the State.”
Former President of India Pranab Mukherjee, who had to attend the swearing in programme expressed congratulations on Twitter and said blessings to Hemant Soren on being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand. “Unable to attend the ceremony due to indifferent health, I extend my good wishes to you for a successful new term. May you uphold the faith shown by the people in you and the alliance you led,” he added.
Union Minster for Defence, Rajnath Singh also congratulated Hemant on Twitter and said congratulations to Hemant Soren on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand. “Wishing him the very best for his tenure ahead,” he added.
Former Prime Minister, HD Deve Gowda tweeted and said, “Heartiest congratulations to Hemant Soren on swearing-in as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand. I’m sure you would ensure a pro-people administration and efficient governance. All the best! I am unable to attend the program as I am undergoing health treatment in Kerala.”
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal congratulated Soren and said, “Hemant Soren ji my best wishes for your becoming Jharkhand Chief Minister.”
Dravidra Munnetra Kajhgam leader MK Stalin visited the State Capital to attending swearing in programme of Soren congratulated the Chief Minister and said, “Honored to be present at the swearing-in ceremony of Soren. Unity and coordination among secular parties essential to oppose CAA, NRC and NPR fight back communal forces and protect social justice. Wish the new government in Jharkhand a successful tenure.”
Offering his wishes former Deputy Chief Minister and AJSU Party president, Sudesh Mahto said, “Best wishes to Hemant Soren ji also congratulations the ministers involved in the Government. Expect that under the leadership of Soren, the new Government will work according to the mandate and people’s aspirations and will set the subjects, ideas of Jharkhand on priority and move the State rapidly on the path of development.”
Odisha Chief Minister, Navin Patnaik tweeted and said congratulations to Hemant Soren ji on being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand. “I wish the very best for the new Government and hope that it leads the State in the path of development, living up to the expectations of the people.
