Naraina gets 220KV substations

Delhi Power Minister Satyendra Jain inaugurated 220 KV substations at Pappankalan developed by Delhi Transco Limited (DTL) on Tuesday.

A senior DTL official said this substation and its associated transmission network have been established with an investment of Rs 65 crore.  “It has been linked with our 400 KV substation at Bamnauli and 400 KV substations Maharani Bagh through 220 KV substations at Naraina,” he said.

“The present transmission capacity of this substation is 320 MVA which would be increased when need arises. This is the third substation in Pappankalan/Dwarka area. Two others are already functional,” he added.
