The Nagarnar Steel Plant will commence operation soon. Additional to it several ancillary industries will be established, where there will be requirement of skilled labour said, Joint secretary, Government of India and incharge officer of Aspirational Districts of Bastar.
He was holding review meeting at Bastar district on Tuesday and reviewing the different standards of skill development.
Pingua further said, “Based on the requirements of these industries the local youths would be imparted training.” Pingua also reviewed the facilities being available under anganbadi along with health and nutrition. It was informed at the meeting that in Bastar district 31 sub-health centre and primary health centres have been converted as ‘Health and Wellness Centre’. Joint secretary directed the officials to identify the drop out children while reviewing the education. He also reviewed the status of toilets in school, pure drinking water, crop insurance scheme, irrigation, Prime Minister Mudra Scheme, Atal Pension Scheme, PM Jeevan Jyoti and others.
